Here’s the Plan

Ride for Project/Alive

  • Start: Charlotte, NC (October 20)
  • Finish: Fort Lauderdale, FL (November 11)
  • Dates: October 20th - November 11th

How it will work

  • 1200+ miles
  • Three weeks
  • Core team of riders from start to finish
  • Weekend rides in between key cities
  • Finish line events each weekend with riders and Hunter families

The Reason

Ride for Project/Alive is raising funds for a promising gene therapy trial to give kids with Hunter Syndrome the chance to grow up. We are family, friends and advocates for these children around the world, cycling from Charlotte to Fort Lauderdale (and lots of cities in between) to create awareness and raise funds.

Our Route

The Ride P/A route was designed to connect communities through the southeast. Hunter families live in many of the key cities between (and including) Charlotte and Fort Lauderdale, so we had the crazy idea to bring them all together with one incredible bike ride. Along the way, we’ll enjoy the beauty of the South in Autumn, from the changing leaves of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the breathtaking ocean views of the Florida coast.
